Position: Baker/Store Clerk
Hours: P/T, 8-10 hours/week to start with opportunity for more hours after training, weekday daytime and Saturday availability a must
Certifications/Experience: Food Handler’s certificate; minimum 6 months commercial baking experience; experience decorating cakes is an asset
Duties: Prepare doughs, pastry and batter; assemble and bake sweets and bread; ice cakes; organize and maintain inventory; make coffee/tea; serve customers and process payments; dishes; some light cleaning duties.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads up to 50 lbs; Attention to detail; Standing for extended periods; Tight deadlines.
